Grand Hotel Llandudno

“We went to llandudno a few weeks ago neither the weather or the hotel were brilliant, I can forgive the weather, has for the hotel well the hotel staff are brilliant as is the food, and entertainment, however the rooms are a little shoddy, the one we stayed though was warm, and liveable, but needed work. They say you get what you pay for and in relation to this property that is 100% correct. This is part of the Britannia group which are renowned for owning this type of historic hotel, our Sea view was excellent, I just wish they would spend further money on the rooms, it’s a real shame. Would I go again yes because Llandudno is beautiful, clean, relaxed and full of things to do. Eating out is easy, so many choices but I can recommend breakfast at the hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel but it needs some work.”

“We stayed in a sea view room and it was stunning. Had the balcony door open all night and had the sound of the sea lapping against the rocks. The hotel still has it's Victorian grandeur. Staff were all friendly and attentive, and quality evening entertainment. Breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely stay again in a seaview room. The room was clean with a comfy bed. All of the facilities worked well and a Tassimo coffee machine with pods. There are a lot of negative reviews out there, but it's recently had money spent on it. And when you look at the photos you won't beat the view! See you next time”

“My partner booked this for our 3 nights away. Room with a sea view was excellent. For sure, the place is a little dated but we never intended just to stay in a room! I loved that I could wake up and enjoy the view over the pier to the sea outside on the balcony - new experience. The staff were really kind, helpful and welcoming too! The location of the hotel is good, it's right next to the Great Orme, which I'd recommend anyone to traverse if you can - scenic beauty. It's not too far off the centre either. There is paid parking if you pass the hotel - £7 for 24 hours Oct-Apr, and £9 May-Sept (if I recall righlty). Entertainment is on downstairs till fairly late (thank you, we were doing a lot of walking!) with the bar open till 12. Nice ballroom, and tracks. To the DJ, kind guy, I hope you get the Wigan Pier. What an adventure. Also to note that we booked and extra night on day, which was pretty darn seamless”
